The extra-large 17" X 18" top hopper opening feeds debris up to 1-1/2" in diameter into 24 free-swinging steel hammers which pulverize it more than 50,000 times per minute.

The seperate side chute chews larger limbs and branches from 3.5" to 4" in diameter at a feed rate of up to ten feet-per-minute.

Extra heavy 40-lb. balanced flywheel with replaceable steel knife for smooth vibration-free performance with maximum operator comfort.

In business for more than 60 years, replacement parts for all Mighty Mac products are readily available, although rarely required.
